Privacy Policy
SMS privacy addendum: how the Service Pro appointment-text feature handles information.
This addendum covers the appointment SMS feature operated by FAST APERTURE ENTERPRISES LLC through BarnPilot Service Pro and used with the named service provider. It does not describe Sentinel alerts or replace privacy information for the rest of the Service Pro app.
Information used for appointment texts
The reminder service receives the provider’s business and account identifiers, business name and time zone; your client identifier, name and mobile number; and the horse, service and farm names, appointment identifiers, scheduled time, duration and status. It records the consent method, time and disclosure version, opt-out status, message status and provider response events.
If you use a private appointment link, it records your confirmation, cancellation or requested date and any optional rescheduling note you enter. Keep that note to scheduling details.
Automatic reminder synchronization excludes invoices, payment amounts, clinical records, private visit notes, horse photos and farm access instructions. It is separate from the provider’s account backup feature. This is not a promise that a service name or a note you type cannot itself reveal sensitive information.
Who processes this information

Service Pro does not route ordinary inbound free-text replies into appointment notes. Use the private link or contact your provider to change a booking.
No marketing sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not rent or share mobile information or text-message consent with affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Limited information is processed by service providers to operate this feature, handle your requests, protect the service or meet legal obligations.
Permission for appointment texts does not authorize advertising or enrollment with other service businesses.
Your choices and record retention
Reply STOP to stop texts from the BarnPilot Service Pro sending number across all providers. You can also ask a provider to withdraw permission for that provider, or use the BarnPilot contact form for Service Pro privacy questions or access, correction and deletion requests. The form is a separate BarnPilot website feature. Requests may require identity verification and review of records that must be retained.
Opting out stops eligible future messages; it does not delete appointment records or messages already delivered. Consent, opt-out, cancellation and delivery records remain in the service until reviewed for removal. We may retain a limited opt-out or cancellation record to prevent unwanted re-enrollment or restoration of a canceled appointment.
To request deletion of information held by the reminder service, use the BarnPilot contact form and identify your request as Service Pro. Ask your provider to correct booking details or review records they retain.
Private appointment links
The link in a text permits actions on that appointment without signing in. Anyone you share it with may be able to act on the booking. Keep it private. It expires at the appointment start or becomes invalid when relevant booking details change. Transport encryption and access checks protect the service, but ordinary SMS is not an encrypted clinical messaging channel.
